I came here for inspiration. Instead I find
the doors of the museum are closed to me
and will not open for another hour.
There is nothing here but freezing wind
and this guy emptying the trash,
working up a sweat in the cold.
To my surprise, I find this as inspiring
as anything on the other side of the doors
and, I suspect,
more pleasing to God than any of us
who freeze moments in pixels and print,
who write these words over breakfast and tea..
