This safety glass wasn't bullet proof.
Neither are we. We are afraid
to walk the streets of Wilmington.
Who can help it?
Yet we are not prisoners of fear,
for the thugs are mistaken.
Guns are not a sure-fire way
to win respect.
The fear of the Lord
is the beginning of wisdom,
and not because God may shoot us.
Walk with us Lord,
and steady our steps.
